The 50th anniversary of Art Car: Cris Devil customizes the new Mini

Art Car by Cris Devil

On November 29-30, at the Nanni Nember showroom in Brescia, the 50th anniversary of Art Car will be celebrated, a unique collection of cars that merges both the sporting and artistic worlds.

Born in 1975 with the first car created by Alexander Calder, the Art Car has now become a symbol for the Bavarian automaker, which has decided to honor it by bringing the twenty models produced by internationally renowned artists on a global tour.

Three standout names will be featured at the Brescia dealership to celebrate this remarkable milestone: Alexander Calder, Roy Lichtenstein, and Jeff Koons. Alongside the cars created by these great masters of contemporary art, Cris Devil—an artist represented by the Zanini Arte gallery—will sign the new Mini with his unmistakable style.

Bold colors, distorted perspectives and suspended atmospheres are the defining elements the artist used to customize the car.

A weekend filled with events, workshops and unique moments, bringing together art, sport, music, and gastronomic culture.

The occasion will also be accompanied by a charitable objective, thanks to artworks created specifically to support research projects and scientific innovation at the local level.
