On Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the musical venue Guitar Sauce in Civate (LC), “OVER COLOR” took place, an event that brought together contemporary art and music in an immersive experience dedicated to enthusiasts and collectors. The initiative featured Cris Devil and Daniele Fortuna, artists represented by Zanini Arte.
In a venue renowned for its collection of guitars of great historical and collectible value, the two artists presented a selection of unique works created specifically for the occasion. The exhibition project gave rise to a dialogue between visual arts and rock music, paying tribute to the personalities who have shaped music history over the past decades.
Throughout the evening, guests experienced a sensory journey in which the artworks intertwined with live guitar performances, enhancing the energy and emotional impact of the event. The common thread of the evening was the value of “handcrafted work”, expressed both in the musical instruments — unique pieces once played by famous guitarists — and in the paintings and sculptures on display.
In particular, Cris Devil’s artistic research emerged through works in which music has always been an essential component of the creative process. Guitars, sounds, and musical imagery are transformed into a visual language that blends painting, sculpture, and three-dimensional experimentation.
Emblematic in this regard was the presence of his iconic “Fly Fuzz” guitars, winged instruments that evoke an imagery suspended between reality and vision, symbolizing freedom and an upward drive.
At the same time, Daniele Fortuna’s works highlighted a sculptural practice rooted in craftsmanship and woodwork. Through a rigorous process of layered construction, the artist — instead of his usual classical subjects — created busts of famous guitarists specifically for the occasion.
The exhibition will remain open and can be visited by appointment until May 30, 2026, at Guitar Sauce.
