The gallery ZANINI ARTE is pleased to present the project DELIVERY artist Francesco De Molfetta, on the occasion of the fair Artepadova that will take place this weekend at the exhibition center of the city.
In this brand new group of sculptural works, born mostly during the long months of lockdown, Francesco De Molfetta aka “DEMO” tried to question this change in customs/ consumption.
Who would have thought, even just 20 years ago, that home would be our identity stronghold? Born the “home-tainment”, people rediscover the domestic dimension: meals are eaten at home, provided by a host of lightning “riders” who lend their quadriceps to the service of our food. Here, then, are the services of “Glovo”, “Just Eat”, “Deliveroo”, competing for efficiency and reduction of delivery. All the academic sculptural rhetoric is retracted with the reinterpretation of the major courier brands (HDL, Fedex, UPS etc.).
