Three artists from Zanini Arte in the installation Alterspace by Andrea Crespi at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan

Andrea Crespi opens the doors to his major institutional exhibition Artificial Beauty at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, inviting renowned artists from the international digital scene to promote innovation in contemporary art through the installation Alterspace. This project, conceived by the artist with the support of the automotive brand CUPRA, invites other artists to reinterpret the theme of beauty in the digital age through their own creative impulses, embodying the unique spirit of cohesion and collaboration that characterizes the web3 community.

Fabio Giampietro, Urban Singularity XI to IV

The five-meter-tall LED maxi-screen installed in the museum’s public square is intended as a place of encounter and cross-pollination, designed to highlight emerging creativity and promote an understanding of the new digital tools of contemporary art.

The first program, running from October 21 to December 11, 2025, features a selection curated by Sandie Zanini of ten leading artists from the international Web3 scene, all of whom have distinguished themselves since the early days of blockchain-based digital art. Three of them—alongside the main artist, Andrea Crespi—are represented by the Zanini Arte gallery: Fabio Giampietro, Bonapace, and Waro.

The selection also includes renowned artists Toomuchlag, Ana Maria Caballero, Andrea Chiampo, Ryan Koopmans & Alice Wexell, Debora Hirsch, Alberto Maria Colombo, and Them.

Bonapace, God Save The Queen

The second part of the exhibition takes shape as an open invitation to the artistic community: a call for artists intended to give space to new voices and perspectives, fostering a direct dialogue with the public. Any artistemerging or established—may submit their work to be considered for the final selection.
A jury composed of the artist Andrea Crespi; the exhibition’s curators, Sandie Zanini and Alisia Viola; the Director of the Museo della Fabbrica del Vapore, Maria Fratelli; and Pierantonio Vianello, Director of CUPRA and SEAT in Italy, will select the most innovative and significant works, which will be displayed in the ALTERSPACE venue from December 11 until the conclusion of the exhibition Artificial Beauty on January 25, 2026.
