Tuesday, December 9 at 6:30 PM, in the Conference Hall of Fabbrica del Vapore, the official catalogue of Andrea Crespi’s solo exhibition “Artificial Beauty”, published by Sagep Editori, will be unveiled.
Speakers will include Museum Director Maria Fratelli, artist Andrea Crespi, curators Alisia Viola and Sandie Zanini, and the contributors: journalist Clelia Patella and art historian Rebecca Pedrazzi, a specialist in AI.
The event will offer an in-depth exploration of the core themes of the project: the transformation of the concept of beauty in the age of technology, the evolution from classical to digital, and artificial intelligence. A shared artistic reflection on contemporary society, developed through the analysis of new aesthetics emerging from the dialogue between humans and machines.
The volume, structured into three sections — Ancient Future, Eternal Beauty, and Digital Revolution — traces the exhibition’s curatorial journey and explores the show’s key themes through contributions by industry professionals. In addition to the evening’s speakers, the catalogue also features contributions by Tommaso Sacchi, Councillor for Culture of the City of Milan; Camilla Brossa, Innovation & AI Expert; and Joshua Long, Head of Brand and Creative, SuperRare.
Just as the exhibition unfolds in a dynamic and innovative manner, positioning itself as a cross-media investigation, the catalogue likewise moves away from the academic allure of tradition to embrace an ultra-contemporary design, inspired by magazine aesthetics.
