We are thrilled to present the extraordinary successes achieved by our artists Andrea Crespi and Svccy during the spring months of 2024, demonstrating their prominence in the international digital art scene through three significant events in just the last month!
1. ITALY
In Parma, they were selected to exhibit their works in the first collective exhibition of AI artists in Italy. From April 6th to May 19th, 2024, as part of the PARMA 360° Festival of Contemporary Creativity, the exhibition titled “L’opera d’arte nell’epoca dell’intelligenza artificiale” curated by Chiara Canali, Rebecca Pedrazzi, and Davide Sarchioni, took place at Palazzo Pigorini. It showcased the creations of artists who have experimented with the use of Artificial Intelligence to explore new aesthetic languages. On this occasion, Andrea Crespi presented the triptych “Ex Human” while Svccy exhibited “Loneliness – Dichotomy of Silence” part of a series of 10 video works created with the assistance of AI.
2. LONDON
In London, the pulsating heart of European creativity, both artists were selected to exhibit their digital works during London’s Digital Art Week at the prestigious immersive venue of Outernet, alongside the strongest names in the international scene. This event, held from April 22nd to 28th, brought together artists, technological innovators, and digital pioneers to explore the potential of merging art and technology. The 2024 edition aimed to bring digital creations into exciting and iconic spaces, reinventing London’s cityscape as a stage to offer the audience unique and innovative experiences.
3. BELGIUM
In Belgium, in collaboration with Art Crush and the leading billboard company Clear Channel, the digital works of Andrea Crespi and Svccy were broadcasted on over 700 screens throughout the country, thus contributing to the dissemination of digital art in everyday life and enriching the cities culturally. Andrea Crespi paid homage to René Magritte in his home country at the end of April 2024, while Svccy chose a triptych of VR Statues symbolizing contemporary identity for the exhibition in early May 2024.
From Parma to London, traversing the streets of Belgium, the art of Andrea Crespi and Svccy is appreciated and stands out for its technical and expressive innovation. In an ever-changing artistic landscape where digital art is in constant evolution, our artists emerge for their unique works capable of capturing attention and leaving a mark on the international scene of both physical and digital contemporary art. They are true phygital artists, able to create works that blend and mix different mediums. This versatility distinguishes them as innovators, challenging conventions and redefining the boundaries of creativity.
